Advancing Your Clinical Teaching (01): E-Portfolio - Self-Directed and Lifelong Learning

This module was designed by Dr. Jack Kopechek, General Pediatrician at Nationwide Children's Hospital and Dr. Janaki Patel, Internal Medicine Hospitalist at Ohio State University Medical Center.  Critical reflection is what sets apart excellent health care providers and teachers from average providers and teachers. Critical reflection provides the structured process for being able to continually improve our teaching by utilizing every teaching experience to grow personally and maximize the effectiveness of our teaching for the sake of our learners. This module explores the use of self-reflection and the potential to develop a teaching portfolio as a tool to document your teaching professional development.
