Full course description

Identification of learners who are struggling is often very difficult.  Clinical educators often struggle both with identification of the learner who is struggling, but also with identification of the specific areas an individual learner may be struggling with.  This module introduces a framework to assist in identifying individual learner deficiencies, define characteristics of remediation plans in general as well as how to target individual learner deficiencies.  This module was a collaboration between Dr. Tonya Apke, Associate Professor of Physical Therapy and certified trainer for the APTA Clinical Instructor Credentialing Program, Dr. Erika Kemp Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy and the Doctoral Capstone Coordinator, and Dr. Charles Redman, Assistant Professor or Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and Director of Clinical Coaching and Remediation for Graduate Medical Education.
