Full course description

Dr. Sheryl Pfeil, Medical Director of the Ohio State University College of Medicine Clinical Skills Center and Professor of Internal Medicine developed this module to introduce educators to the importance of clinical simulation.  The module discusses the importance of using simulation to increase opportunities for deliberate practice.  It introduces the different types of simulations, task training, standardized patients, and high-fidelity simulation, comparing them and determining how each is best utilized.
