Description
In this one-hour self-study module, you will learn to recognize the common symptoms of traumatic brain injury (TBI) and how to incorporate compensatory strategies into your treatment practices. These simple, yet effective accommodations will increase the odds of treatment success in your professional practice when working with patients who have been impacted by TBI.

Following the training, attendees will be able to:
- Describe what a traumatic brain injury is and list common concerns following a brain injury
- Learn how to screen individuals for a history of a brain injury
- List compensatory strategies a practitioner may use with someone who has experienced a brain injury
- List local and national resources for an individual who may be impacted by a brain injury
- Create a new plan of treatment for an individual who has had a brain injury
