CTSI - Defining Clinical Research

Course Description: 

This course is designed to provide a fundamental knowledge of clinical research by defining clinical research and types of clinical research studies.

Objectives:

1. Define clinical research
2. Describe types of clinical research studies
3. Understand the differences between clinical research and clinical treatment
4. Apply federal regulations and guidelines for interventional clinical research
