Course Description:
This course is designed to provide a fundamental knowledge of ethical approvals for clinical research studies by the institutional review board.
Course Objectives:
- Identify institutional ethical approval process for clinical research studies.
- Understand the structure and function of an IRB
- Understand different types of IRB review
- Compare local IRB, Central IRB and SMART IRBs
