CTSI - Team Science and Quality in Informed Consent

Course Description: 

This course is designed to provide a fundamental understanding of the requirements for informed consent and recognize how team science applies in quality informed consent practices.

Course Objectives:

1. Identify research team roles in informed consent.                                   
2. Understand the interactions among stakeholders across the informed consent process.   
3. Apply checks and balances within team interactions related to informed consent.
4. Recognize quality assurance measures to ensure safe and proper consenting

This course provides 0.7 Nursing Contact Hours from The Ohio State University College of Nursing at no charge.  The OSU College of Nursing is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation, provider # N008222.
